1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Calibre + Candor Competition (“Competition”). The promoter is Media Co Global Limited trading as Calibre + Candor (“Organiser”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”). By entering the Competition, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, and any other applicable rules and guidelines.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 or older, who are legal residents of New Zealand, and the business they are entering on behalf of is an active New Zealand Business with a valid NZBN.

2.2. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Calibre + Candor are not eligible to participate.

3. Entry Period

3.1. The Competition commences and finishes in accordance with the times and dates stipulated in the material published by the Organiser.

4. How to Enter

4.1. To enter the Competition, participants must follow the entry mechanic stipulated in the material published by the Organiser.

4.2. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or do not comply with these Terms will be disqualified.

4.3. Only one entry per person for the duration of each competition will be accepted.

5. Prize

5.1. The winner of the Competition will receive 10 free Runners Pack creative hours from the Organiser. These are to be used specifically for standard graphic design and copy writing tasks as outlined on the Pack page—some exclusions apply. All hours must be used within the period of 1st November to 15th December 2023 (“Prize”). Any unused hours are forfeited after this date.

5.2. The exact schedule for using the Prize will be coordinated between the winner and the Organiser. The notice period for the intention of use must be five working days.

5.3. The Prize is non-transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Prizes are subject to availability.

5.3. The winner of a prize is responsible for any other costs arising in relation to, or associated with, the prize.

6. Winner Selection

6.1. The winner will be selected based on the most compelling answer to the survey question received during the Entry Period. This will be judged and decided by the Organiser’s Creative Director at their sole discretion and not subject to review.

6.2. The judging period will commence the day after entries close and run for 5 days.

6.2. The winner will be announced via a LinkedIn post and will be contacted via LinkedIn direct message. The winner must respond to the Organiser’s notification within 5 days to claim the Prize. Failure to do so may result in disqualification at the Organiser’s discretion, and an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Use of Personal Information

7.1. By participating in the Competition, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information by the Organiser for the purposes of administering the Competition and promoting it on social media platforms.

8. Publicity

8.1. By entering the Competition, you grant the Organiser permission to use your name, LinkedIn profile picture, and your competition entry comment for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

8.2. If you provide us with an email address and/or a mobile phone number, you consent to us sending you emails and/or text messages (as the case may be) for promotional purposes.

8.3. Participation in the competition allows the Organiser the right to use your submission for future marketing.

9. General Terms

9.1. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Terms or engages in any fraudulent or inappropriate behaviour.

9.2. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or modify the Competition at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

9.3. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, the platform it has been published on. By entering and participating each entrant agrees to hold harmless and release the Platform and Organiser from and against all claims, demands, liability, losses, costs, or expenses with respect to and arising out of, or related to the entrant’s participation in 1) the promotion or 2) any prize-related activities, acceptance of a prize and/or use or misuse of a prize.
